Chimichurri!

This summer I discovered Chimichurri sauce.  My entire family loves it and it's great on
Chicken
Steak
Pork
Fish...
or anything!
I didn't really know what I expected it to taste like, but it is not your normal green sauce.  It's got the tangy taste of cilantro mixed with the sweetness of mint and agave nectar and a little kick with the red pepper. Try it and you'll be convinced!

Always use the fresh cilantro and mint.

Chop up the mint and cilantro, add in the seasonings and then add the vinegar and oil.

Here's my recipe adapted from Recipesweet.net. You can see the original here.

2 bunches of fresh cilantro, rinsed and dried
1 bunch of mint, rinsed and dried
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon agave nectar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
salt to taste.
3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1/2 cup of olive oil

Place the cilantro and mint into food processor and chop finely.  Add the seasonings and mix.  Add the vinegar and olive oil and blend until you get your desired consistency.
